Method:

Hilite

string Hilite(boolean cs, boolean skipHTML, string pre, string post, obj strN...)

Description:

The method Hilite looks for one (or more) strings in a text and put, around every found item, a pre and post string. Example:

myString = "This is a good World"
pre = '<font color="green">'
post = '</font>'
$myString.Hilite(true, pre, post, 'This', 'good')

The result is:

<font color="green">This</font> is a
<font color="green">good</font> World

The pre and post string can contain also symbols that will be substituted with original string: ** => substitute with str, $ => substitute with str url encoded and ## => substitute with str encoded isolatin

Parameters:
cs

determines if the search should be case sensitive

skipHTML

can be used to exclude from the search text areas that are HTML tags

pre

provide the strings to be inserted before each occurrence of the string

post

provide the strings to be inserted after each occurrence of the string

strN

provides one or more strings (or array of strings, or search class objects) to highlight. If an array is passed, all strings in the array are highlighted. Simple strings and strings arrays can be mixed
